Meet our Coaching Team

I participated in dance, gymnastics, netball, running and swimming from a young age, but it wasn't until I found cheerleading at 19 that I found my passion in life.

I believe that cheerleading is the perfect sport for young girls as it upholds the importance of women being strong and athletic, while incorporating elements which are feminine - music, dance, performance and presentation.  I believe this is a winning combination which keeps athletes engaged, challenged, excited and committed.

I am honoured to have the opportunity to instil good qualities and values in our athletes that will hopefully last a lifetime.

I feel that the saying "It's not just a sport, it's a way of life" perfectly encompasses my relationship with cheer. I fell in love with cheer eight years ago after fifteen years of dance. Throughout my tertiary studies in engineering and my work as a professional, my cheerleading friends and the sport of cheer have always been there; providing me with lots of fun, good memories, a sense of belonging and many opportunities to develop my teamwork and leadership skills. No other activity has captured my imagination the way cheer has and every day it is part of me. It is my goal for every QCE student to have as positive an experience from cheer as I have had.

It’s a team effort to make QCE the club it is. We have an incrediable group of passionate, experienced and talented staff at QCE who coach our tumble, cheer and flight school classes.
